Privacy Statement for WeForza

1. Introduction
Welcome to WeForza, a mobile application developed by the Forza Picasso organization ("We," "Us," or "Our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how WeForza collects, uses, and safeguards user data.
2. Data Collection and Use
WeForza collects and processes only the following types of data:
- Bluetooth Device Names: The application scans for and records nearby Bluetooth device names as advertised. Specifically, WeForza collects the "Complete Local Name" as defined by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG), which is responsible for developing Bluetooth standards and overseeing their implementation. No connection is made to these devices, and no additional device data is collected.
- User-Entered Data: Users may manually enter first names, last names, aliases and Bluetooth device names. This information is stored locally and is not linked to any other personal identifiers. Additionally, users are allowed to choose pictures through their image gallery or camera, for the sole purpose of visually identifying persons with a given name. These pictures are only stored locally, in the user's image gallery.
- Exported Data: Users may export selected first names, last names, aliases and Bluetooth device names into a text file. This text file can be shared among other users of the application, at the user's discretion. Likewise, users may export the first names, last names and aliases of attendants of events at given dates, to a text file. This text file can be shared at the user's discretion, for the purpose of event attendance tracking.
3. Data Storage and Sharing
- Local Storage: All collected data is stored locally on the user’s device. WeForza does not transmit data to external servers or third parties.
- User-Controlled Sharing: Users may manually export and share text files containing user-entered data and Bluetooth device names. WeForza does not automatically transfer or sync any data outside of the user’s device.
4. Data Security
We prioritize the security of your data. WeForza does not require online accounts or cloud storage, reducing exposure to potential breaches. However, users are responsible for safeguarding any exported data shared outside the application.
5. Third-Party Disclosure
WeForza does not share, sell, or disclose user data to third parties.
6. User Rights and Control
Users have full control over their data:
- Users may enter or delete first names, last names, aliases and Bluetooth device names at their discretion.
- Users can choose whether or not to export and share their data.
- Uninstalling WeForza will remove all locally stored data from the device, except for any images that were saved to the user’s image gallery.
7. Changes to This Privacy Statement
Forza Picasso may update this Privacy Statement as necessary. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version within the application.
